IBBY ITALIA EXECUTIVE BOARD TAKES OFFICE: COMMITTED TO IBBY MISSION AND INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS 2024

IBBY Italia has elected its new Executive Board, which will remain in office until May 2025. The very shortlist of candidates testified to a renewed willingness to participate on the part of people and associations who recognize themselves in the objectives of IBBY and who, by supporting its action in various ways, constitute its force. This is the direction that emerged strongly from the IBBY Italia general meeting: to strengthen the nodes of a network which, all across Italy, work for the social and cultural well-being of children, by writing, publishing, narrating, promoting, making beautiful books accessible and supporting young readers.

The organisation of 2024 IBBY Congress assigned to the Italian section is a great honour and responsibility for the Board, who have re-confirmed their commitment to this challenging and exciting task.
