19 April 2024

In the run-up to the 39th IBBY International Congress, which will be held in Trieste on 30 August and 1 September, the Gruppo volontarie Nati per Leggere Trieste (Nati to Read Trieste Volunteers Group), within the Project of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia LeggiAMO 0-18, is organising three meetings to promote reading for families with pre-school children, focused on the themes of the Congress, divided into three fantastic binomials: Science and Fantasy, Languages and Nature, Words and Images.

These are the scheduled meetings, held under the patronage of IBBY Italy:

The meeting is part of ‘MareDireFare’, the Festival with which Trieste will celebrate the Decade of the Oceans from 2021, to reflect on their conservation and the future of marine resources. The Festival, which again this year sees the collaboration of IBBY Italia, is promoted by WWF Area Marina Protetta Miramare, Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale – OGS, Patto di Trieste per la Lettura, Editoriale Scienza, Associazione Museo della Bora, in collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste and the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
